È possibile iscriversi per un anno accademico intero oppure per un semestre.
Enrollment is possible either for a whole academic year or for one semester.

Ci sono due periodi di iscrizione: In settembre–ottobre (per tutto l'anno accademico o per il primo semestre) e in febbraio (per il secondo semestre). Le date precise sono pubblicate nell'agenda.
There are two enrollment periods: In September–October (for the whole academic year or for the first semester) and in February (for the second semester). The beginning and the end of the enrollment periods are published in the calendar section of this site.

Iscrizione per proseguire studi già iniziati
Enrollment for returning students

1. Per iscriversi ai corsi di un ciclo già iniziato, basta mandare una e-mail al decano, indicando il numero di matricola, il cognome, il nome, e i corsi che che desidera prendere. Se si tratta del primo ciclo, basta indicare, per esempio, «primo ciclo secondo anno». Se si tratta degli altri cicli, si prega indicare i codici dei corsi e seminari che si intende prendere.
   To enroll for courses of a cycle you have already begun, please send an e-mail to the dean, indicating your student id number, your last name, your first name, and the courses you want to take. If you are a first cycle student, it is sufficient to say, for example, «first cycle second year». If you are a second or third cycle student, please indicate the course codes of the courses you want to take.
2. Il decano risponderà tramite e-mail (alle volte questa risposta vuole un po di tempo, quando ci sono molte richieste), indicando lo piano di studi da svolgere. Si prega di controllarne la correttezza, e di contattare l'amministrazione dell'università per il pagamento.
   The dean will then answer your e-mail as soon as possible (this takes a certain amount of time, especially if there are many requests), attaching your copy of your plan of studies. Please check whether it is correct. If this is the case, please contact the administration of the university for payment.

Prima iscrizione per studenti ospiti iscritti in altre università pontificie
First-time enrollment for auditing students enrolled in other Pontifical Universities

1. Si prega di inviare una e-mail al decano, indicando le informazioni richieste qui, aggiungendo il nome dell'università in cui è iscritto, il numero di matricola e i codici dei corsi che intende seguire nella nostra facoltà. Si prega di allegare a questa e-mail (in formato jpg o pdf) una Sua fotografia digitale recente, lo scan di una prova che è iscritto nell'altra università pontificia, lo scan nella carta studente, e, se è seminarista, chierico, religiosa o religioso, il permesso del superiore locale a Roma di seguire corsi alla nostra università.
   Please send an e-mail to the dean, including the information described here, adding the name of the University in which you are already enrolled, the student id number you have there, and the course codes of the courses you want to enroll in our faculty. Please attach to the e-mail (in jpg or pdf format) a recent digital picture of yourself, the scan of a proof that you are currently enrolled in the other Pontifical University, the scan of your student id card, and, if you are seminarian, cleric or religious, the written permission of your local superior in Rome to attend classes at our University.

3. Dopo, si prega di compilare il modulo che può trovare qui, e, se è seminarista, chierico, religiosa o religioso di farlo firmare e timbrare dal Suo superiore locale a Roma.
   The next step is to fill out the form you find here, and, if you are seminarian, cleric or religious, to get it signed and stamped by your local superior in Rome.
4. Dopo, si prega di rendersi in persona al Segretariato Generale dell'Università, portanto i documenti scannerizzati e inviati previamente al decano in forma originale, il modulo compilato menzionato nel punto previo, e una fotografia tipo passaporto per completare l'iscrizione.
   Then, please go in person to the General Secretariat of the University, and bring them originals of the documents you sent to the dean, the form mentioned in the previous point, and one passport type picture of yourself to complete your enrollment.
5. Infine, si prega di contattare l'amministrazione dell'università per il pagamento.
   Finally, please contact the administration of the university for payment.

Prima iscrizione per tutti gli altri studenti
First-time enrollment for all other students

1. Per l'iscrizione si ha bisogno di una racommandazione del Suo Vescovo diocesano (i religiosi: del loro superiore maggiore). Questo vale anche per i laici. Si ottiene più facilmente una tale racommandazione dietro presentazione della racommandazione di un prete che si conosce. Per i laici della diocesi di Roma, basta il «nulla osta» del Vicariato di Roma sulla lettera di racommandazione del prete. La racommandazione deve menzionare la facoltà e il ciclo nei quali si vuole studiare. Per i seminaristi che vivono in un collegio, basta una lettera del superiore del collegio.
   To enroll, you need a recommendation of you Diocesan Bishop (for religious: of their major superior). This is also necessary for lay people. You will obtain more easily such a recommendation if you bring your bishop a recommendation of a priest of his diocese who knows you. The recommendation has to be made for a given faculty and a given cycle of studies. For seminarians living in a College in Rome, a letter from the superior of the College is sufficient.
2. Per essere iscritto, bisogna anche avere un documento di maturità statale e, se è il caso, altri titoli di studi.
   To enroll, you need also transcripts which prove that you could be admitted to a University in your native country (if you are from the US: please make sure that your ACT or SAT scores are documented).
3. Chi non è cittadino dell'Unione Europea oppure di uno stato membro dell'EFTA, ha bisogno del visto (come ottenere il visto: si veda qui).
   If you are not a citizen of the European Union or of an EFTA member state, you need a visa (on the time-consuming process of obtaining a visa, see here).
4. Si prega di inviare una e-mail al decano durante il periodo degli iscrizioni, indicando le informazioni richieste qui. Si prega di allegare a questa e-mail (in formato jpg o pdf) una Sua fotografia digitale recente, lo scan dei documenti menzionati sopra (ai numeri 1–3).
